Dr. Thaddeus P.
Pantera, D.D.S., F.A.G.D. is a lifelong resident of
Western New York. He is one of 17 family members to graduate from
dental school and treat the people of our community. It is a fact
that the whole family is very proud of. Beginning in 1917, with the
graduation of Dr. Stanislaus Pantera from UB Dental School, a total
of 17 family members (fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, cousins,
etc.) have completed the training and licensing to become Doctors of
Dental Surgery (DDS). There are currently five Pantera family
members practicing dentistry in the Buffalo area. Two are teaching
at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental
Medicine. Dr. Thaddeus P. Pantera is the son of Dr. Thaddeus G.
Pantera, who taught dentistry at our local Dental School and
practiced general dentistry (all phases of dental treatment) for 40
years.
Dr Thaddeus P. Pantera He is a graduate of Our Lady of Victory Elementary School
(1967), Bishop Timon—St. Jude High School (1971), Canisius College
(1975), and SUNYAB School of Dental Medicine (1979). He has also
completed course studies at Erie Community College and Yale
University. In 1992, Dr. Thaddeus P. Pantera received his fellowship
in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). This award recognizes
the commitment to excellence in dentistry and requires extensive
continuing dental education (a minimum of 500 hours) and the passing
of a written examination. Dr. Thaddeus P. Pantera currently has
logged in excess of 1,500 hours of CDE (continuing dental
education). Dr. Pantera has been in family practice since May 1979.
He resides in Lancaster with his wife, Maureen, and family.
